A pleasant drama combining reliable Spencer Tracy with with a more erratic Lana Turner. Typical MGM production with all that polish and professionalism expected from them, but Cass Timberlane (1947) is not one I feel I need to see again anytime soon. Didn't feel the story had that much to offer.
