Cat-Women of the Moon

Cat-Women of the Moon is notable for a) its sexual politics, b) its regular, non-cat-like women, or c) its complete disregard for a climax? ...the answer is, of course, d) its giant moon-spiders.

Its biggest problem is its tiny budget (even the old efx are cheap for the time & the climax is off-screen), but script-wise it's only guilty of a boring first half. Too long to set-up. But if you're a fan of the unusual (i.e. kinds of movies that stopped being made 50+ years ago) the 2nd half is interesting: how the characters will interact & reach the ending is unpredictable. It's not unintentionally funny unless you're the kind of person who finds anachronistic pre-feminist messages hilarious

Fifties camp classic with one of the great joke titles of all time.

It's poorly plotted, ineptly made and has a bizarrely abrupt ending, but is still a relatively painless experience at just over an hour long. It's most memorable aspect is the eye-catching title really, aside perhaps from the oversized moon spiders.
