Joris Lachaise takes us to Thiaroye, in a suburb near Dakar, to enter the psychiatric hospital accompanied by writer and filmmaker Khady Sylla who has been admitted there several times. Through here latter's experience of mental illness and treatments, the film explore the recent history of Senegal: the country's independence as well as the decolonization of psychiatry. (imdb)
