Hard to tell how much is staged, which is both a compliment and a distraction. It's an interesting story with great cinematography and some really nice moments. It also has a few distasteful moments that hold it back and towards the end it gets a bit tiring, but on the whole the interesting parts win out.

it's actually a fairly watchable documentary (almost). it may not have been completely real, but it was close enough and so early in the history of film makes this a good watch. thankfully it's lack of rip roaring entertainment is made up in it's brevity.

Lacks the majesty of Grass or King Kong, but it's a satisfying middle chapter. Gets rough watching those tigers get it - that whole segment left a bad taste in my mouth.
