Chao qiang tai feng

This was made with a big budget, but it looks and feels like a supersized B-movie. I don't know whether to laugh or to cry. It got some pretty amazing scenes, they're not brilliant, but utterly baffling. You've got to see it to believe it (a scene has 4000 chinese running with bags of sand, waving flags to stop the waves of the sea(?), like they're attacking an army). Also a better title would be 'Super Mayor'. This guy pops up in every scene rescuing people from a shark attack (!) to car wrecks
