Chaos

I urge you to avoid it. Don't make the mistake of thinking it's 'only' a horror film, or a slasher film. It is an exercise in heartless cruelty and it ends with careless brutality. The movie denies not only the value of life, but the possibility of hope.

Very, very bad copy of LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT, only remarkable for it's disgusting rape/torture-porn scenes.

One of the worst movies that I have ever seen. Even people who usually like the extreme think that this film is a joke.

Before the actual remake of The Last House on the Left, there was this quasi remake, part original story part ripoff. It is not as bad as its reputation suggests it is, but it is awful just because there is no point to its existence. Unlike some bad films, there is no logical reason, even for cash, for this to exist, and when it gets to its contrived ending, it does not have any point to it. The warning to protect your daughters at the beginning was probably there to avoid flak.

This film is bad news. It's one of the few films that I sincerely regret ever having seen. It is simply ugly and almost completely without redeeming qualities. But I can't deny that it was kind of effective at doing what it set out to do (which I assume is to make itself unforgettable).

Top badass moment? Justine's (Deborah Lacey) last stand at the end. Entirely futile, but that's what makes it so badass. I just hope she got some small satisfaction from knowing she'd been right all along. 0 cats, 0 decapitations and 1 chainsaw. The chainsaw was used in a somewhat unconvincing attempt by the father of one of the women to fight Chaos. I'd stick to cutting up logs in the garden mate, if I was you.

A poor rip off.
