Only Charlie Chan could get shot in the leg and use it as an excuse to throw his son in the brig. Fun, light entry gets bogged down with some really obvious scenery chewing villains.

Typical Charlie Chan & Son. Good fun with a lot of talk about horses and gambling, but I felt the villains was too obvious and boring in this one to really catch on. Still some clever moments and got to love Keye Luke ways of always getting into trouble!
