Charlie Chan in the Secret Service

Charlie Chan gets relegated to poverty row. The first one for Sidney Toler at Monogram. And it's a natural downgrade, with the small studio's lack of polish in their productions. They try with more members of the Chan Clan, without that really working. Number 3 son Benson Fong was clearly no "No.1 son". This did have one big added element which makes it worth your time. Mantan Moreland! Wonderful on comic support. The mystery is a dud, but as a comedy it's fun.
