Do you want to see peak Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, and Cameron Diaz (in that order) kick ass and go through set pieces designed to showcase them? Add Bill Murray who gets way too involved but actually makes the movie better? Plus, for some reason, Joey, Tom Green, and Luke Wilson. Terrible plot. Fav scenes: Drew Barrymore seducing at the race track and Lucy Liu teaching the business seminar.

I bet McG was the kinda boy who would sneak into his sister's room and play with her dolls. Pretty, perfect puppets, he would arrange in pretty, perfect environments and have them do pretty, perfect things in their pretty, perfect outfits. Sadly, I'm not talking about his childhood, but of a film so stupid, that even Glover and Murray appear in vain. 'Charlie's Angels' does make me wish that McG would have grown up in a basement, where he'd get beaten with a tire iron swung by his drunken dad.

Decent soundtrack, decent action, mediocre plot and hot chicks make this an alright flick. It doesn't try to be anything more than that and it works to be decently entertaining. Nothing great though.

The cast in these movies manages to make them seem more interesting than they really are. This one's pretty bad, but not on the insultingly bad level of its sequel. It has two great strengths working in its favour: a brief scene of a stripped-down Cameron Diaz shakin' her ass, and Sam Rockwell cutting loose in the villainous role -- Crispin Glover as his silent assassin is kinda fun too. As for the rest of it... I can't for the life of me understand why McG still gets to make movies.

Charlie's Angels could have been nothing more than standard action/caper fare if not for the amazing cast. All the leads bring charm and uniqueness to their characters. The script does just fine as well is creating distinction and comedy to spare.

A H'wood rarity: a 100% mainstream, expensive, star-driven, tv show-inspired, teen-marketed action flick that's never unintentionally stupid or too pandering for adults. Pure fun and hot chicks. It helps that no one appears to be taking this too seriously but neither are they partying at the audience's expense. No doubt dumb luck accounted for the balancing act it pulls off considering the huge drop-off in quality in the sequel. Only mistake? Unfunny Tom Green cameo.

We saw the Matrix!!! and GrL Power!!!!! are the two strongest motifs in this movie. The cast of this movie was well chosen. I'm not so sure about the film being well acted; famously the Angles couldn't stand Bill Murray. I'm not the biggest fan of Drew Barrymore and her lisp, which should have been above Bill Murray's name in the credits because it was much more prevalent than his acting. For crappy action movies, this one was worth the run time.

This may sound a little silly, seeing as I'm talking about a movie, but there is not a single moment of reality or realism in this, which is absolutely fine, if you don't want to use your brain at all while watching a movie. I would have preferred to see some substance, some character, in amongst the arse-kicking and one-liners, maybe that's just me, but, there you go.

It's so rare to have an action movie with a female lead, and here we have three--Lucy Liu, Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz. The story had a good pace, it was typical good guys (girls) versus bad guys, but I loved that the girls were the ones kicking ass instead of being rescued. Drew Barrymore's character, Dylan, had a great "moonwalk" scene too. I got the sense that the three actresses had a great time making this movie, and it makes you feel like you're in the party.

Fun action film filled with early 2000s charm, some scenes have some pretty well directed action in it and has a sleek look and tone. Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore were great actors in it and is a movie I watch often and regularly that is always fun. I actually found it to be the best portrayal of CA and is my favourite film that has come out of the franchise.

I appreciate how this film stayed true to the original show's campy humour and aesthetic, and how it was able to blend in Hong Kong-style fight choreography as well, but I really wish the plot was better, because it is reaaally bad. Some of jokes have not aged well and are on the politically incorrect side. Lucy Liu was the stand-out of the cast for me and her business seminar is the best scene of the film.

It doesn't get worse than 3 pretty girls with questionable acting skills placed in a film whose only requirement of them is to look good in a bathing-suit. The film just never could put its pieces together in regards to plot and where to put its pretty centerpieces. Worst of all, the jokes fall flatter than Lucy Liu's character's muffins.
