Charley's (Big-Hearted) Aunt (1940) is another rework of the popular cross-dressing play. A British version with Arthur Askey in drags. Amusing as silly as it is, but it doesn't bring as many laughs as one could have hoped. My favorite adaptation is still the silent Charley's Aunt (1925) with Charley's brother.
