Chasers

Just looking at the poster you can determine every beat of this. Tom Berenger is going to be snarly, Erika Eleniak is going to flaunt her assets, and William McNamara will be foiled by those assets. The fact that this is directed by Hopper and he shows up briefly with a prosthetic nose and a sex doll is a bonus. This isn't good but its pretty harmless.

A poor road movie capitalizing on the Under Siege tits of Eleniak.

This military comedy killed Hopper's career as a director, and it's hard to guess what attracted him to this material other than the vague resemblance it bears to The Last Detail, except in Chasers the marines are transporting a sexy woman instead of an awkward teen. The most surprising thing about it is its sheer banality. Hopper plays it all dead straight, without attempting to spice it up, so it lacks any kind of rebellious spirit, and Berenger's performance is poorly judged.

Besides the obvious assets of Erika Eleniak, this movie has nothing to offer.

I liked it. It has Tom Berenger using a bad fake voice, Gary Busey, Crispin Glover and people wearing funny hats.
