Children of Divorce

A decent soapy drama in which everyone loves everyone else. Not sure why the women remained friends if Clara Bow stole Gary Cooper away. Gary Cooper was apparently so bad he was fired during this movie but rehired when his replacement was worse. Fav scene: Clara Bow writing her suicide letter.

Not Clara Bow at her wildest. Instead she's a child of divorce looking for a marriage to last so she won't turn into her parents. Her ideal man is a young and fresh Gary Cooper! One problem, Cooper and their mutual friend Esther Ralston are the ones in love. And that's a outline for sadness. Well dramatized film, a little slow, but with plenty of personality with both Cooper and Bow shining bright.
