Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror

David Carradine starts spouting absolute nonsense about tutelage and corn and tricks a bunch of dumb 90s kids into worshipping him like they’re me during some weird phase in elementary school where I’d rush home during lunch break to catch some of Kung Fu the Legend Continues

Yes, there are some big problems here - the anti-climatic ending for 1 & what the purpose of Carradine's character is, I have no idea - but this is way better than I expected & I don't agree w/ the majority. Maybe they wanted the dopey slasher film the first 10 minutes is absolutely mimicking (a first for this franchise). But it's not that. The main teens here - shockingly- have different motivations & goals & I grew more interested in what would happen to them over time. Some okay actors too

A fairly pointless movie from a long since forgotten franchise. While it may have a bigger body count than the previous one, it's made so terribly badly that one can't overlook it for the simple reason David Carradine is in it. I'd only recommend this movie to someone I'd want to be tortured.

Not the worst of the bunch, but that isn't saying much.

Aside from one extremely cool WTF moment this movie was a completely joyless piece of crap. Not so bad its good but so bad its a waste of time.

The marketing for this was better than the movie. I saw a poster of foetuses growing on the cob. It was striking. This movie is not striking. This is silly, which is a nice change of pace from the dour tone most of the movies in this series have. But you're never scared or intrigued and nothing will occasion more than a chuckle.
