China Moon

OK neo-noir which actually follows the film noir formula quite faithfully. Harris does a solid role and it's fun to see Stowe in her prime and Del Toro in an early role. While the plot doesn't hold that well on closer inspection, the film still has a nice atmosphere that keeps you entertained. It's not a classic or even a hidden gem, but should still satisfy fans of the genre.

I was somehow losing interest towards the end. Nothing memorable.

I guess the moral of the story is don't fornicate around, especially with married women. Better than I thought it was going to be.

The movie wherein no-one hears gunshots. One tweest too many.

Very good if conventional noir elevated by a great cast. Not sure why it's never mentioned.
