China

"China" is a 1943 war film designed to evoke strong anti-Japanese sentiments. Its approach is notably direct and forceful, ensuring the film's message is unmistakeably clear to the audience. There is a nice twist at the end, but it is still an average film.

War-time road movie in China (1943) where Alan Ladd brings Loretta Young along to escape the nasty Japanese invading the land. A real good movie, but it does have some slow spots which could have needed something more exciting going on. But few can dispute the way it ended. Signed off on a high blast!

Typical wartime propaganda elevated by very good acting, solid atmosphere, and a pretty surprising ending.
