A fun idea that unfortunately wasn't done that well. It just seems like a sloppy Melies wanna be. And the fact that you could tell is was a badly made up doll doesn't help things.

A so-so little stop-trick short. Note the bilingual labeling of everything (in French and English), presumably to make it more suitable for the international market; Méliès also tried doing the same in a few early shorts. Thankfully, everyone seemed to realize that putting huge labels on everything was a little tacky looking, and gave up on it.
