Obayashi brings a lot of heart to it, but honestly not a script that can sustain 2.5 hours. Drifted in and out of it.

What possessed the director of Hausu to release a 2:30 hour cut of this extremely boring movie? I can't believe I made it through. IMDB says that the US cut is only 2 hours long, but I'm pretty sure that it too would be really boring to watch.

This film does not have a special feeling, and some of the special effects can be repulsive. But do realize my dears i have a strong emotional attachment to the dialogue contained therein. Forte!
