Okay Christmas film I don't care much for sentimental " everybody's happy " movies Granted this movie has some flaws but not too bad

I love black cinema so I am predisposed to enjoy this movie more than others might. Omar Gooding was really good in the staring role. Keith David knocks it out of the park. Eric Roberts played a great bad guy. I'm not so sure how much I liked the decision to completely redeem him at the end of the film so he and his henchmen were handing out presents to the kids in Compton but overall it is a cute Christmas movie. It has a bit more production value than a Hallmark movie but not much.
