I was totally blitzed watching this. Still total garbage but great to scream at how bad it is. Adele Dazeem and Billy Porter are too good for this

"Megan and Prince Henry: The Musical Biopic" was the working title with which this movie was privately screened to the Royal family. True story.

If ever a film exemplified our current Idiocracy. It's a random jumble selection of old pop songs that have no connection to anything. There is barely any attempt to the Cinderella story - Cinderella original message is defined by her certain unfailingly kind, unassuming, humble personality, who she gets her pay off at the end. You don't have like it, but that's simply what it is. They transform her into a bolshy Girlboss desperate for fame and attention. No more needs to be said.

Such a bad concept that doesn't get better as it goes. In fact it really just continues to slowly roll down a mountainside full of thorns and bad times. Just awful really. The music was a mishmash of terrible new songs and awful renditions of existing music that just never should have occurred. It's painful in various ways.

Where to start with the list of problems I have with this movie. Kay Cannon tried to go for more progressive story line than any of the other adaptations, and It unfortunately falls flat. The music, acting, and writing are all very average, and nothing new is really done with this very overdone plot. That being said, I can definitely see a younger audience loving and enjoying this. It's not really for older people like me I'm sure. This film is entirely missable. I give 5 CGI mice out of 10.

Some kids could make it their favourite movie I guess, say if interested in that, but I found it mostly hard to palate. The royal family was more interesting than Cinderella and everyone else so that's not good

Flimsy plot, too much autotune, but decent visuals. Stop casting James Corden in musical films...

bad movie

Okay, starting with the only positive thing about this, honestly, I liked the casting in itself , and they did a great job singing if you put aside anything that had to do with the movie. But that was about it, and the only reason I am rating this so "high". I didn't enjoy the plot, I did not feel invested in any of the characters, and they used too many songs. I did not see the point in this movie. They did the ensemble dirty.
