Circle of Danger

Strong work by Milland and Tourneur keeps it watchable, despite the pacing issues and the fact that it loses its nerve, morally speaking, by not fully exploring the implications of Clay's 'discovery'.

Low flow noir with Ray Milland. Tries to get to the bottom of what happed to his brother during the war, and there is a step-back and take it easy approach to the whole investigation. Rock solid, with a Milland carrying things like a gentleman. Worked rather nicely.
