Clash

Typical mindless Asian martial arts action movie. Obligatory nonsensical plot featuring rival gangs, deceit and grudges: check. Over-stylised cinematography and rock/rap soundtrack: check. A few decent fight scenes and lots of shootouts: check. Despite the flurry of fists and spinning kicks offered by badass Spiderman stuntman Johnny Nguyen and his cool-haircut-sporting female sidekick, the story quickly descends into blah, and this is leagues away from being another Ong Bak or Infernal Affairs.
