We follow Robert Young and his problems of having a young wife. Dealing with their immature nature and best he can while trying to give her a security and comfortable home. I'm not 100% sure about Dorothy McGuire as his wife. Honestly she came across more mature than the role suggested (she was already 26 at the time). She surely had her moments, but I wasn't feeling her all the way. Still an interesting study.
