Cleanskin is both good and bad. On the good side we have Sean Bean's as Ewan, a secret service agent completely devoted to protecting his country. His part is indeed something well worth watching. On the other hand we have Ash, who slowly becomes a terrorist. In many films we're given terrorist with no motivations and we wish they had some. However, a crucial motivation for Ash's terrorism is apparently that chicks like to sleep around. Might've been better to just make him a faceless enemy.

Basic plot, shallow characters, cheap twists, dull, etc. But hey, Sean Bean lives!

Too much doesn't make sense. A shame, really, because it has a few things going for it.

Sean Bean is great. Unfortunately the other lead actor is not nearly as strong, and his motivations are not well fleshed-out. Actually the entire plot has major problems and could use a re-write. The whole love sub-plot detracts from the film. Still, the strongest parts of the film are when Sean Bean is kicking a terrorist's ass, shooting a terrorist or setting a suspected terrorist on fire. And Cleanskin is worth watching for these scenes alone.

Sean Bean gets shot in the opening scene and doesn't die. WHAT A RIPOFF!

Pretty interesting terrorist thriller which forgoes all the interesting stuff halfway through for footage of Sean Bean setting potential terrorists on fire. Entertaining, but sort of confused by what it's trying to say by the end of the film

Not nearly as suspenseful or fun as I would've liked, and Sean Bean is very underwhelming. 'Cleanskin' treads little new ground, and transitions from scene to scene very sloppily, making it somewhat irritating at times. Part one is a slow-burn "thriller" featuring Ewan (Bean) and his partner, as they track down culprits from a terrorist cell. Part two consists of an in depth examination of said culprits, prominently the main guy, as he goes to college and creates the whole group. The whole thing

Some good character development for the extremist but there is just something missing in this film.
