This really didn't do much for me at all. I thought the direction and cinematography were actually annoying pretentious. Nothing inventive, at all. And the acting was nothing to be commended either. The beginning end of the plot was interesting, but up until then it seemed mostly like a stitching of cliches of this type of film. It tries to piece together an average movie but fails at that to make one that's just not good at all.

I really enjoyed this movie. It was layered and complex throughout. I especially loved the fact that it was a commentary on psychiatric practices. The main character's technique is something that we see often in movies, but it can actually be detrimental to an individual. The very end may have been a little weird to me (the window part), but that isn't a big deal for me given how good the movie was leading up to that.

A regular Thriller, the type when you know what it is happening you do not mind if you stop watching or see the final resolution. Not boring, though.
