Clouds

Hokey, soapie drama is a borderline trial for about an hour as glib, cardboard characters exchange cute quips about the ugliness of cancer, while presenting a character always just the right amount of sick for every occasion; picks up in the second hour and becomes quite involving, charting the (still too familiar) road to stardom for Sobiech. Ultimately the performers get this over the line, with Scott especially good as Sobiech Sr., but this has all been done before (and better!)
