Dan Crackett, Secret Service Agent, is looking for a counterfeit money ring. He has tracked the stolen plates to somewhere in Mexico. In Washington, Saxby sends Brass Bancroft to El Paso to team up with Dan. They make plans to meet in a gambling saloon in Mexico called the 'Silver Slipper'. It is there that the gang kills Dan and pins the murder on Brass. (imdb)

Ronald Reagan regarded this as one of his worst. I found this quite entertaining. Well written it's not and the direction is clumsy. But it goes all over the place and never gets boring! At least it tries hard for a B-picture. They're never meant to be genius productions. So far I've mainly seen Reagan in light comedies, so it's fun to see them test him out as a action hero. The second of a series of 4 films as Lt. 'Brass' Bancroft of the Secret Service. The worst, but enjoy it as a mess! I did.
