It takes an hour of everything we hate in slasher films to get into the most uninspired slasher film ever, so, it couldn't have been even mediocre. Moreover, its overall production values, for which the movie is praised sometimes, was far below medium, as well as music was only distracting. Apparently, they rented the chalet for the most of their budget instead of renting equipment.

Saw an English dubbed version, & the bad voice acting didn't help an already bland film.

its slow and completely unoriginal. I don't know why this movie was made. A bunch of teens get stranded and find a abandoned hotel in the middle of no where and get stalked by a guy with a pick axe. The only redeemable qualities are the budget and the wintery setting.

Starts alright, and I've got a weak spot for it 'cause I'm a Swedish expat, but it's nothing more than alright. The set-up is good, they just kind of miss the mark on the scary bits.

Five Norwegian snowboarders get stranded in a remote and apparently abandoned ski chalet, and they soon realize that a homicidal maniac lives in the basement. This movie has some nice gore and a cool looking killer, but really doesn't do much to set itself apart from the glut of extremely similar "youths trapped in a cabin with a psychopath" flicks. Not an original bone in its body, and no boobs, but it's not bad.

Decent genre film, perhaps it's even better than my score indicates since I am from Norway and perhaps aint giving it a fair shake.

Standard slasher flick, not sure why this gets such a good rep. It's a slasher flick with some production value, it doesn't help it being utterly and completely by the books and as a result not terribly interesting. Slashers are hard to do, even when you have production values like this, if you make an incredibly predictable slasher it's going to be boring.

"Not an original bone in its body, but it still works (and works well) by force of style, splat, and intensity."

OK imitation of bad Hollywood horror. Starts off allright, but after the threat makes itself visible the tension drops to zero. But kudos on the Turbonegro song at the end, made me laugh!

Quite good. Certainly some horror movie cliches here and there but there's enough newish stuff to keep it worthwhile. Thankfully there's not a ridiculous amount of jump scares and where there are they're actually scary, well for the most part. Worth seeing if you enjoy horror flicks.

Grim Norwegian slasher which is played quite straight. It's biggest asset is the abandoned ski resort which could have been utilized more. The film could have also used some more outdoor scenes to spice up the middle section, but maybe these were budgetary reasons. It's not very gory but still quite suspenseful in part due to sparingly use of the killer. I didn't really care about any of the characters which was a pity. Worth a watch for slasher fanatics and I would check out the sequels too.
