Two comedic geniuses meet and hilarity ensues...in this other movie I am watching because I turned off Collision Course.

I expected this movie to be awful, but at least moderately entertaining. Instead I got a racist, lazy piece of crap for which someone apparently forgot to write a score. This movie is on a collision course, all right... with my garbage bin!

A thoroughly inept attempt at the East meets West buddy cop formula that was later made popular by Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan. It's not only devoid of laughs, the stereotypes come off as racist and not the least bit entertaining...

If slasher films sprouted like weeds throughout the 80's, then buddy cop movies washed up into theaters and video stores in the late 80's & 90's like garbage washes up on the Jersey shore. However instead of an old rusted-out Ford "Crown Vic" washing up under the boardwalk, this Jay Leno driven "comedic-vehicle" with Pat Morita riding shotgun, and Ernie Hudson locked in the trunk is more like the equivalent of a shopping cart full of aluminum cans and dead hobos washing up outside Atlantic City.
