Not as gory as Herschell Gordon Lewis' gory movies and not as well-acted as Herschell Gordon Lewis' well-acted movies(holds hand over mic, "Does Herschell Gordon Lewis have any well-acted movies?")

Probably the best Herschell Gordon Lewis film I've seen yet of course that's not saying much. The paintings in the film are atrocious but if you them and this film as a comedy you'll definitely get some enjoyment out of this.

and he would have gotten away with it, too, if it hadn't been for those meddling kids

Another quite decent platter of filth from the champion of the genre. He skimps a bit on the good ol' bright red this time around which leaves the movie limping through lengthy passages that rely solely on acting (Not Gordons strongest side).

Mostly a slow burn with gore, has some funny one liners and doesn't quite come together. Still not a complete waste of time.

There are some interesting things here and there, but as a whole it's the weakest of the "trilogy". Not as bad acted to be funny and not specially gore (just a single scene in my opinion) compared to Blood Feast, and though there's a few absurd moments it's not that much as Two Thousand Maniacs!

BlurayRip RARBG.

This was a clear step down from Two Thousand Maniacs, but it still has it’s charms. The main story of the artist is not strong enough to carry the whole film and therefore a lot of screentime is given to a bunch of hip youngsters who spend their days on the beach. You could describe the film as Beach Party meets HGL. This was also probably the most comedic of his films so far even though the humor is very dark. Short duration makes this an easy watch.
