Colt 38 Special Squad

Jumps right into to gritty action and keeps up the tempo. There are plenty of cool chases; even one with a car onboard a train. The plot is unnecessarily confusing and could have used a polish. Characters are quite thin, even if they try to give more depth to e.g the only major female character and her boyfriend. Surprisingly, this special squad is tamer than in "Magnum Force", but the film doesn't shy away from showing the casualties of the turbulent times. Cipriani's score delivers the groove.
