Surprised this one isn't held in higher regard within the Meyer oeuvre, as it packs a lot of action into its scant running time. Alaina Capri is hot as hell, and her character is cattier than a "Dallas" marathon. As usual, the top-heavy women and heavily-stylized dialogue mask a really dark undercurrent, which here feels like some gritty crime flick gone '60s beach party.

"Common Law Cabin" is an adult melodrama filled with seedy characters acting in ways intended to shock you. It's a 60's style sexploitation film, and I found it more entertaining than most.
