Catch Me if You Can by way of Chris Cooper's character in Adaptation. ("Fuck fish. I renounce fish.") A refreshing movie, in that it harbors no pretensions of having 'it all' figured out. It's humbly curious about the mechanics of how best to live a life, doesn't comment on the nature of identity/self so much as it questions the value of it, and what results is something rare: an inspirational work with little to no schmaltz.

I like it. It feels like I've seen it before though.

I hate a predictable ending

I like Michael Shannon. My mom made me watch this.

The film takes place in Averageville, but the acting (particularly Weisz's) is good.

Shannon and Weisz (personal favorites) stand no chance with a plot like this although they try. (Also Kathy Bates and Danny Glover pops up from nowhere, OK!)

Michael Shannon & Rachel Weisz are good and the "observation", I guess you can call it, of the chameleon tickles the brain. I liked it a little.
