Confession of a Child of the Century

Ugh, fuckin' Pete Doherty.

As a fan of Pete Doherty, I wanted to like this film. However, it doesn't take long to see that Pete is just not a very good actor. Not awful, but not terribly captivating either. I felt like I was watching someone who would rather have been doing anything else than participating in this film, and that made me want to do the same. Visually, the film is quite nice. It would have worked well had Doherty not been cast as the lead. Hopefully, this doesn't kill Verheyde's career.
