Confessions of a Queen

Victor Sjöström's 3rd Hollywood movie unfortunately is missing 2-3 reels. So we get a solid build-up and not much of a payoff. Confessions of a Queen (1925) shows again that Sjöström was a very competent man at delivering the psychology that makes a great movie. Perfectly illustrated by the suspense of that final scene of the existing footage.... of which we'll probable never see the outcome of. I was getting into this one, so very disappointed that this movie has not been saved.
