While it feels a little wrong with Charles Boyer instead of Bogie with Lauren Bacall, I ended up really appreciating a lot that went on here. I can see people feeling there is a lot of weaknesses with the story, but I for one felt the strong moments outweighed the lesser bits. Boyer a little more vulnerable with a lot of obstacles and a strong woman by his side made for a thrilling scenario. Especially with the creepy and snooping characters that got in his way. Had me captivated big time!
