Constantine: City of Demons

It's a decent film that for the most part rides the line between cool and stupid.

Wow, Japanese animation does not use the Horror that much and it is a pity because that was just awesome. I am looking forward to more of the franchise.

A visually beautiful, brutally dark story of magic and mystery, though the former is done better than the latter. The movie really delivers when it comes to Constantine's character and backstory, and the atmosphere is fittingly demonic as you'd hope. Honestly, my biggest issue comes with the resolution: it's framed like Constantine's fully redeemed himself, even though he didn't undo the original mistake that damned his soul in the first place! Overall, pretty good.
