Miami DAY Brent Butt looking thing on a speedboat shades on hot shirt etc think it's some hotshot miami vice bullshit then it pans past the boat to Butt in a dingy raft and his dad hollers "JACKASS" Just give me the keys to this movie. / the theater was full and they had some Canadian indy band play O Canada before it and everyone stood up for the anthem and I oooozed on the floor from overdosing on Canadiana

Corner Gas: The Movie will make fans of the television show remember why they had so much fun watching it over the years. It's a big-budget, feature-length episode, and that's something to be celebrated. It's funny, it shows you some things that you didn't ever get to see on the show, and it contains a couple of surprises, too. It gets off to a slow start, as if adapting to a feature-length running time was difficult for the filmmakers, but once it gets rolling it's great fun.

Fairly entertaining to see these familiar characters. The 20 minute intro with trivia, sing-a-longs, O Canada, and more was some of the most cringe-worthy stuff I've ever seen - especially in the context of a packed theater. Also, please don't beg me to tweet about your movie and take Corner Gas selfies when I came to see the movie.

Kinda feels like I watched a marathon of 6 episodes in a row of the show. So, like, watch it if you want to relive being a Canadian on Boxing Day in 2005.

Fun way to end watching the series.

If you are a fan of the television series you should check this film out. The film does justice to the series and it is very funny. All the maim characters are back and the story takes place five years after the show ended. I highly recommend this film.

Fans won't be dissapointed. Does a good job of plotting out high enough stakes to fit movie length while not betraying the charm of the series.

Packed with the show's trademark dry wit ("Put the money in a bag!" "Ok. Did you bring your own bag? Or I'll have to charge you a nickel."), deadpan small-town silliness (see Davis' "detective work", Wanda's "Booze Box"), and crazy cast of characters (Oscar's apocalypse prep is a riot), with a surprisingly tragically-tinged plot (with a wacky climax foretold in the beginning and left unexplained until the end). The end is a little sappy but it's to be expected for this feel-good family fare.
