A 3rd rate musical comedy. The romantic leads (Johnny Downs & Betty Burgess) was totally uninteresting apart from some steppin' and this relied mostly on the comic supporting cast like Jack Haley and Andy Devine. Sailors and women, always source for some mess. But sadly the rest was mediocre. Everything from the story to the musical numbers, which is the reason why this movie is barely known except between hardcore fans of Jack "The Tin Man of Oz" Haley.
