Corvette Summer

Coming-of-age story that's both sweet (18 year old males would never be this scared of sex again) & fun (Potts is often unpredictable & some simple but good stunts) while dipping way more than its toe into the deeply grey problems of the world. There are 2 reasons I can see why this didn't do better: Potts' character is really interesting but not explored enough & after Hamill's forced to make a hard choice before the 3rd act, the movie suddenly feels way less honest & plausible & more contrived

Mark Hamill's character was annoyingly obtuse. Annie Potts had so many different outfits and was quite attractive. Nice shots of Las Vegas strip. Plot gets stuck at times but it's enjoyable watching Hamill spin his wheels. Fav scene: crooked Gil getting ripped off by the single mom at the gas station.

Campy and silly but reasonably enjoyable road trip flick starring a young Mark Hamill and Annie Potts trying to track down a stolen car.

One of the worst cases of "so bad I enjoyed it" ever. For some added incentive, watch Mark Hamill morph into Hillary Swank and then back. Creepy!

I love Mark Hamill in this movie, he is so cute!

I loved this as a kid. Although it's aged horribly, I still enjoy this one lots.
