Courage of the West

The film debut of Bob Baker. Takes the lead straight away as one of the forgotten singing cowboys they tried to launch during that short-lived craze. And Baker's career as a singing horseman was short-lived. He found initial success with this western shot in one-week, winning the fans over with his boyish charms and soothing voice. Not the worst candidate as cowboy hero, but there wasn't much else making him stand-out, so by the time the fad had ran its course, so had his career in Hollywood.
