Court Martial

Intriguing court room drama gets better and better as it goes along, thanks to a fine cast of lesser known British supporting actors bringing life to a well delineated cast of characters; Cuthbertson in particular is a delight as a snidely officious officer. By contrast, Niven is fine but almost underutilised as the fairly bland defendant.

"Court Martial" is a unique courtroom drama centered on an individual who, despite being guilty, no one wishes to be convicted. The narrative unfolds compellingly, relying entirely on present-day storytelling without using flashbacks to establish the context.
