A chilling documentary that shows the corruption, bad government and racism behind the crack epidemic and the how much damage the war on drugs and war on communism did on the most vulnerable communities in the USA. In the end it should've been "Just say NO" to government funding terrorist groups, to racial profiling and criminalization based on lies.

Pretty limited and by the numbers doc mixing archival footage with talking heads, but still compelling in the way Nelson organizes the bigger picture -- how institutionalized racism in America paved the way for mass killing and incarceration of the black community -- with stories from former dealers and users, journalists and historians. We all know the history and we better remember it forever, because it defines what US imperialism means -- domestically and abroad -- since the 1980s.
