Crack House

A favorite of Quentin Tarantino, this grimy, lurid mix of 80's action, blaxploitation, and after-school special satisfies while leaving you feeling very dirty for even witnessing it, much like a good hit of rock, I'd imagine.

You could call this a drugzploitation film. It's also bordering on blaxploitation, mainly due to the presence of genre icons Richard Roundtree & Jim Brown. Both are in good shape and it's a pity that they didn't get to work more after the 70's. This Cannon Films distributed flick is filled with ridiculous dialogue and hardly a quality film, but it does offer some entertainment if you've already seen all the genre classics. It also predates Boyz'n'the'Hood which covers some of the same ground.
