The first proper action movie in years. If anybody you meet complains about the lack of character development or lengthy exposition then punch them in the face. Twice. When they ask why you just broke their nose tell them "That was for missing the point you dumb shit". That'll learn 'em.

What a great action flick. Jason Statham is the perfect man for this role and him banging Amy Smart in front of hundreds of people is easily the best scene of the movie.

A bloody mental concept, think 'Speed' in a human. Highly enjoyable, although frankly a bit stupid, it's probably one of the most original films I've seen in the action genre in some time. 'Juice me'.

Full of action, fast-paced, and very enjoyable. Watch it with friends.

You need to like this kind of humour, but it is very funny movie.

Hilarious in a delightfully wrong way.

Stathman does amazing physical role as always but Crank is sadly easily forgettable. Quick fix for the adrenaline junks.

A complete exercise in style, and it never aspires to be anything more. But man, what style. This is a way more authentic Grindhouse, b-movie experience than those that ape them more exhaustively.

I have to say i loved it in so many ways. it had comedy,action and sex (Who doesnt like sex). Jason played a impressive man who has to have adrenilin to survive.He done a very good job with this and with a special star Chester(Linkin Park) it was quite funny. a must see for Jason Statham fans and non jason statham fans.:)

Mostly mindless, might work as commentary on mindless action movies, but I thought Shoot'em Up did a better job. Many disagree with me on that though.

Why am I giving this utterly ridonkulous and not very good action flick about a man who must keep his heart racing to prevent death at the hands of an arcane poison a relatively high rating? Jason Statham's ass.

Outrageous fun, not quite of the order of "Shoot 'em Up", but certainly comparable. If you're watching this for the story and the acting, you're already doing something wrong. Highly amusing, face-paced action and nothing more, but if it works, it works.

A guilty pleasure of mine, the scene in the alley with the Loverboy song playing is perfect.

This film is so fantastically made. The editing and cinematography are superb and unlike anything else in the brainless-action genre. As an action film it's decent enough, nice and implausible, but then on top of that it's got this wonderful video-gamesque stylisation that you just don't see enough of.

It was exactly what I was hoping it would be. A balls-off-the-wall action movie that didn't bother too much with a plot. Had it tried to be anything else, I would have given it a much lower rating.

This movie defines awesome. It's an adrenaline filled rollercoaster, for both the main character and by proxy the viewer.

Tried hard to like this....but failed. A movie that just isn't sure what it is.....action? comedy? ...ends up being a confusing mish mash. The violence is frequent and unpleasant - (not clearly over-the-top Tarantino style). There is a particularly unpleasant rape scene - featuring the "hero". The "comedy" is very out of place with the rest of the movie's brutality. The plot is interesting, but in a number of situations there needs to be an enormous dose of credibility suspension.
