Creepshow III

Making all the stories interconnected was an idea with potential, but it's done so poorly and cheaply that it doesn't amount to anything. Feels like an R-rated Disney Channel movie, and not in a good way.

So bad it's hilarious. The first one is ridiculous, the second one is ridiculous, the third one I don't remember, the fourth one is ridiculous and the fifth one I don't remember. That's probably all there is to it.

What the hell was that?!

There's this old dude who gets a good "Yaaaaahhhhh!" off a few times. Even if you don't know it, you're watching the movie for him. Everything else that happens may as well not have happened. It's as though some bit of local color gets elevated to a gently viral YouTube character and then has an entire movie materialize around him, to his total bafflement. But he rolls with it, and you have to salute his sangfroid. It's as good an explanation as any for why this thing ever got made.

So uninteresting and boring, and the acting and music suck ass too. Avoid.

GUH.
