The second one of Warner Baxter Crime Doctor film series. Better than the first entry for sure. With it's selection of odd suspects, a young Lloyd Bridges getting one of his first significant roles and well paced action, The Crime Doctor's Strangest Case (1943) was a satisfying B-mystery.

That dream sequence was cool, I like that they mixed things up a bit, even if I didn't enjoy the quasi-hypnosis that followed. Interested use of flashback, they aren’t that common in these murder-mysteries. Overall, it was alright
