Crimes of the Black Cat

Not an overly original giallo but, then again, it's part of the parcel for the most part that its quite a derivative genre. What really counts is style. And this film has it in abundance with quite a few what the fuck moments thrown in for good measure. It doesn't need to make sense if it's awesome.

English dub. Damn, I was hoping there would be a supernatural element with the killer being a werecat. They had to science it with a plausible explanation. The plot was okay with some confusion probably from the dub. Typical giallo slasher action and style with gratuitous amounts of murder victims and inspectors who are none the wiser. Blind Bruce Wayne with butler solves the case. Fav scene: I always love it when a blind man turns off the lights to his advantage in the final cat and mouse.

Ok, it's a clone of various gialli but it is an entertaining clone.
