Crocodile

I'm sorry, Tobe, but this one was a real stinker. The mechanical alligator isn't THAT bad, though it doesn't really seem intimidating since all it does is swim in the water in a straight, lifeless line or potentially open and close its jaws into which people seem to just kind of jump so they can be eaten. The CGI crocodile is bad even with the standards of the time it was made but fortunately they don't show too much of that. You just kinda wish that everyone would die.

Hooper's worst by far, yet, in the hands of another director, could have been so much worse...

It's shit. I'm sure Hooper knew it was shit. I'm sure the actors knew it was shit. I'm not gonna hold this against you Hooper, I've done some shit for money that I regret.

Awful movie. Somehow I got through it all. I kept expecting more from director Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre).

As much as I love this era of cinema (the rise of the teen film). This is just horrible.
