Apparently the police are OK with your illegal shenanigans if you've got a cool Aussie accent.

I can't hate Crocodile Dundee, explains why everyone living in NYC knows him and he knows them on a first name basis and he's only been there for a few months at most. You could literally dress up like a crazy Australian and run amok and the police in this movie's NYC would laugh if off. I wonder if any of the thousands and thousands of other outspoken foreigner possible characters showing up feel pissed they got the shaft, sorry Panda Xiang , Bear Borikof, Moose Atlas and the rest. Crikey.

Crocodile Dundee II: Electric Boogaloo was enjoyed during childhood, and then I grew up and got all serious and don't watch crap anymore. I'm much too important for all that now, I'm a serious person, I have a tie and a bank account. My brain has increased dramtically. And I have to return some videotapes.

If you liked the first you'll enjoy the second. This is strictly 80's fun-o-tainment, and as such it's very good. I'll never regret Paul Hogan coming into our lives, no matter how silly it all was. Know why? Because THAT'S a knife.

Sloooowly paced sequel is really an unnecessary addendum, but if you're at all susceptible to Hogan's laid-back persona, this is a pleasant enough time-killer, even if 20 minutes of tightening would have resulted in a little more sentimental approval. It's arguable whether Dundee really fits in the INDIANA JONES/ROMANCING THE STONE mould that the screenplay takes him; the perpetual threat of brutal violence doesn't belong in Mick's world! Hesitant jumper scene is definitely the comedy highlight.

An effective reversal of the playing field from the first one. This time around it's Dundee who knows the area and customs.

Doesn't just follow the law of diminishing returns, but grabs a cab, follows it down the street then kidnaps it and holds it to ransom

Paul Hogan needed someone who could really capture the essence of who Paul Hogan is and what Paul Hogan is capable of. His choice: Paul Hogan.

Paul Hogan as a fish out of water in New York was kinda funny. Seeing him operating back in his natural habitat makes you realize how much of a jerk he actually is. Not many laughs for a comedy.

The villain is great, scenery chewing but grounded. Everything else is mediocre and very 80s.A few chuckles here and there, though.

Sorry excuse for a comedy, simply capitalizing on the success of the first film. The entire film is a rehash of situational "comedy" from the first film and the first film skated by on its novelty.

"Bad Santa" is the story of two conmen who go on a road trip to malls dressed as Santa and his elf. Rather than spreading good cheer, the duo's motive is to rob each establishment, a strategy that becomes complicated when they encounter an 8-year-old who teaches them the true meaning of Christmas.

Some nice one liners, I guess. All and all, this movie just sucks. Full of stereotypes, crappy "action" sequences, and dialogue that is supposed to be funny but comes off as pitiful.

Weaker than the first but retains much of the charm and remains watchable and lighthearted, with enough chuckles peppered throughout. The silly topical plot involving Colombian drug traffickers (surely big news in the late ‘80s) at least allows a reversal of the location change of the original: as a kid this felt like two films, and perhaps the stretched runtime is why the finale seems to be so rushed.
