You're gonna need a box of Kleenex for this one because the writer didn't pull any punches. By the end, it began to feel a little forced, like it was written with the specific intent to make the viewer the most depressed he/she could possibly be, which is a little different than simply having a depressing story to tell. At any rate, this movie is excellent, it's hard to find stuff taking place in North Korea, so it was like looking into another world. Avoid if you get verklempt easily.
